Parishioners will begin December with many special blessings - thanking God for our blessings remembered in December - Name Days, Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries after the Artoklasia Service. Our Lunch and Learn luncheon will be followed by our youth and adults choosing parts and responsibilities with our annual Christmas Pageant planned for Sunday, December 22nd. Our parish always invites everyone to help decorate the Christmas Tree and parish facilities, and this year we will help our youth with Christmas arts and crafts. Plan on joining us whether you have children, are single, or think you're too old... you are never too old to be an active part of our parish family!
As part of his sermon at our Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Presentation of the Theotokos into the Temple, Fr. George witnessed the divine and providential mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ in the life of one of our beloved parishes, Athena. Parishioners gathered for a group photo to share with her as she continues her recovery the promise of our Good Shepherd: "Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luke 12:32)
