Our beloved parish of Saint Christopher Church celebrated its first Divine Liturgy on the Feast Day of Saint Demetrius the Great Martyr on Sunday, October 26, 2003. In Thanksgiving, Fr. George, assisted by our choir, altat servers, greeter, and faithful offered the Divine Liturgy of this great feast day. Afterwards, Fr. George offered a Trisagion Service in loving memory of our founding fathers and mothers who have fallen asleep in the Lord, along with our family members who visited during their lifetime, and our family members who helped raise us. May God grant them eternal memory. May God bless our beloved parishioners with many more years of good health, joy, and strength to complete its mission to build a permanent Greek Orthodox Church in the southern metropolitan area of Atlanta. Thanks and glory be to God for all His blessings.

Christ is Risen! Fr. George commends our parishioners for attending Sunday's Mother's Day Divine Liturgy and Luncheon in honor of our mothers. Special thanks to Bill Wiley, Luncheon Chair and all those who donated food and drinks, helped set up and clean up, and everyone who stayed to share fellowship and great food. Mothers were presented with a special gift from Fr. George along with roses and chocolates from the Parish Council. We thank Presbytera Marinda for making the five loaves used in the Artoklasia Service which were served as bread for our luncheon. What a blessing to share our April and May special commemorations on Mother's Day Sunday with the Blessing of the Five Loaves. May the memory of our mothers who have fallen asleep in the Lord be eternal. Fr. George and Isabelle thank the parish family for their gifts and birthday cake. Thank you again, everyone. We praise and thank our Risen Lord for blessing us so richly on Sunday, May 12th.
