Note: Fr. George believes in the importance of our religious education ministry for both our youth and adults. But this Sunday, we have a beautifully full schedule, and in the spirit of honoring Philoptochos Sunday, classes have been replaced with an opportunity to focus on the joy of fellowship—beginning with our Orthros and Divine Liturgy, continuing with the Thanksgiving blessing of the five loaves, remembering our November commemorations, and gathering afterward for a special luncheon celebrating a beloved birthday. This also ensures we are on schedule for our Parish Council Meeting and Philoptochos Fall Pastry Sale endeavors. Following our religious education classes, Faye Georgeo invites parishioners to celebrate Stephen Butler's 81st birthday with pizza and various toppings, Greek Salad, cake, and drinks.
