Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Today, the Turkish President signed a decree that converts Hagia Sophia, the foremost Christian Cathedral in the entire world for nearly 1,000 years, into a mosque. So many emotions are being felt and expressed, including rage and sorrow, from around the world.

In response, I have been praying and asking God to deliver His Temple from this captive action, through the prayers of the Theotokos, St. Christopher, and our precious martyrs and saints. I join your prayers and rejoice that we can express our views freely and in support of our Mother Church.
